Lend A Hand Charitable Foundation began its noble  journey in 2002.It began as a humble cause by Susan Varghese. She began small  by providing partial support to children  / families who required financial aid.

Lend A Hand Charitable Foundation Trust was established in 2002 and Lend A Hand Charity Home opened doors in 2008.Although there was no Charity Home setup in 2002, her heart went out to the financially backward families who approached her. Lend A Hand Charitable Foundation Trust provided school fees, books and medical help to orphan/underprivileged children, some of whom began to see the gates of education although they were aged 4 years and older.

Her father ,  LATE K.M.VARGHESE , cousin LATE GEOGY VARGHESE and close friends  were her mentors and encouraged her to open the registered Charity home.

The Charity Home provides shelter, food, clothes and education to children who were disadvantaged. Lend A Hand Charitable Foundation Trust continues to provide partial support to those who do not reside in the Charity Home but who are in need of financial aid. Recently the trust partially supported the marriage of two girls who were educated by the support given by the trust.

As on today,  the home enrolls children in need and nourishes them to become independent citizens.
